I maintain a blog here on this site that I use as an outlet for thoughts and ideas that bother me too much. It tends to address the rhetorical/philosophical questions evoked by recent (or fairly recent) events.

Free to everyone, a system that lets you have a backchannel conversation in class, a presentation, or anywhere with an overhead projector.

I've put together a script that allows anyone with a Google account to email and text message all their students with one click. Feel free to give it a try.
